Choreography
Choreography is the art or practice of designing sequences of movements of physical bodies (or their depictions) in which motion or form or both are specified. Choreography may also refer to the design itself. A choreographer is one who creates choreographies by practicing the art of choreography, a process known as choreographing.
Bollywood
Bollywood Dance is the name given to the dance form used in Indian (Hindi) films. The most energetic and colorful Indian dance forms are Bhangra and Garba (originated in the state of Gujarat, India). They merged with other dance forms from around the world and now is the famous Bollywood dance.
HIP HOP
Hip-hop dance is a fusion dance genre that incorporates elements of popping, locking, breaking, jazz, ballet, tap dancing and other styles and is typically performed to hip-hop, R&B, funk, electronic or pop music.
SALSA
Salsa is a partnered dance where the lead leads the follow through a series of spins and turn patterns to music. Salsa dancers can also break apart during a dance to dance solo, known as ``shines``.
CONTEMPORARY
In terms of the focus of its technique, contemporary dance tends to combine the strong but controlled legwork of ballet with modern that stresses on torso. It also employs contract-release, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation characteristics of modern dance.
FREE STYLE
Freestyle is a way of dancing in which the dancer improvises his/her moves on the spot, as he dances, instead of having them planned beforehand. In its most extreme form.
HOUSE
House Dance is a freestyle and social dance form that originated from the underground club culture. Although it is more visibly practiced inside studios, institutions and within the context of battles.
KRUMP
There are four basic moves in krumping: stomps, jabs, chest pops, and arm swings. Krumping is rarely choreographed; it is almost entirely freestyle (improvisational) and is danced most frequently in battles or sessions rather than on a stage.
ROCK N ROLL
The most obvious feature of the Acrobatic rock and roll dance are its kicks (into thin air) and its acrobatic elements like lifts, jumps, throws and flips.
LOCKING
Locking is a style of funk dance, which is today also associated with hip hop. The name is based on the concept of locking movements, which means freezing from a fast movement and ``locking`` in a certain position.
POPPING
Popping dance is a style of dance that started in the late 1960's and 70's. This dance style is characterized by sudden tensing and releasing of the muscles (``hitting``) to the rhythm of beats in music.
KIDS CLASSES
Once the kids warm up to their movements on music, we gradually start to incorporate vocabularies from different dance forms, majorly including Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop. All these dance forms are the most essential for posture and lyrical expressions, both of which are at the core of any dancer.
