Our Director and Choreographer
Mr. Manan Kashyap, is happy to be taking the new role of Director of MANAN DANCE STUDIO with utmost excitement and importance in his institute. Known for his punctuality and discipline, Manan comes from a corporate background and has international experience and exposure to understand the value of professionalism and great service. Under his leadership, he shows dedication and understands the effort required to be a fitter making students happier and accomplished towards their learning and fitness through dancing. Manan worked as a dance instructor in crystal dance center Dubai. He Choreographed and performed in GLOBAL VILLAGE DUBAI. Manan worked as a dance instructor in Dolphin Dance Academy in Jharkhand 2004 – 2009 and got his diploma in FREESTYLE BOLLYWOOD from Ganesh Acharya Dance Academy. He is also Trained in SALSA by SANDEEP SUPARKAR and Zumba trainer is a new signature earned lately.
ACHIEVEMENT
- First Runner-up of all Jharkhand dance competition 2011.
- Choreographed for 250 children of National Level in Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagal Dewat Vasant Kunj.
- Judged at Inter-School Dance Competition in Mira Model School. (31st Aug 2018)

Learning, thought, creativity, and intelligence doesn’t just come from the brain alone, but from the entire body. Movement combinations increase memory, order, and sequencing skills. Creating dances also increases self-esteem which is so very important to learning. We already witness the need for children to move throughout the day. Having experienced firsthand the positive effects that music and dance have on students’ development, I feel it is important for dance to be included in all elementary (and secondary) curricula.
Contemporary
In terms of the focus of its technique, contemporary dance tends to combine the strong but controlled legwork of ballet with modern that stresses on torso. It also employs contract-release, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation characteristics of modern dance.
Hip Hop
Hip-hop dance is a fusion dance genre that incorporates elements of popping, locking, breaking, jazz, ballet, tap dancing and other styles and is typically performed to hip-hop, R&B, funk, electronic or pop music.
Jazz
Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance. Jazz also has its own movement vocabulary ranging from the isolation of certain body parts to the movement of the entire body with the accents of musical rhythms.
